A day of arts & crafts with Downey Care Center

A-1 Home Care has arranged to host a series of art classes at the Downey Care Center. We were super excited to meet and greet the senior clients there, and host a fun filled afternoon of chatting, making crafts, and bonding with our new friends.

 We got to meet so many great people. This is Betty in the green cardigan. She was a very enthusiastic crafter, and she later won our surprise raffle, which ended up in her gift of a snack basket full of gourmet cookies, crackers, and cheeses.

A-1 Home Care is thrilled with the results of our activity day. We made personalized bookmarks using shiny stickers, patterned cardstock, markers and colorful yarn. Everyone was chattering and meeting others, and we all had a blast.
